1) Torremolinos is the beach resort with the most gay venues.

2) Torremolinos is still surpisingly Spanish. Which gives it a special taste.

3) Several quality gay businesses opened this year or will be opening. For example trendy (cocktail)bar restaurant "El Gato Lounge". One of the biggest clubs of Spain will open this summer called Paradise, Biggest gay sauna of southern Europe will be opening the end of this year.

4) In the end of the year the high speed train connection is ready, which makes Torremolinos the closest beach connection to Madrid.

With its more then 5.000.000 inhabitants who love to visit the southern coast because of it's warm winters and great summers. You can imagine the boost it will give to the large gay community in Torremolinos. Especially because of the low costs of the train and the only 2.5 hours travel time.

5) Torremolinos is only 15 minutes to the beautiful city of Malaga (600.000 inhabitants), with its historic center and great shops.
