Zapatero has won Spain's elections today. More than 45% of the spanish voters voted in favour of the sosialist party of Zapatero. With 168 seats the PSOE will have the absolut mayority in parliament. Zapatero, who is responsible for gay marriage in Spain, defended during his run to presidency gay rights constantly. The PP who was the big competition during the race, wanted to turn the clock back. They said that if they when they would be in power marriage will be again for men and women only. Now Zapatero has won gay rights will stay an important issue during the next four years.
