Playa del Ingles and Jumbo cente are the most ugly of all , but still very popular with gays.
In the winter beaches are very windy, many days you have to stay at swimming pool.
Price/quality are not really in balance.

Ibiza is a beautiful Island. Hotspot for trendy (straight) people. It gets really busy in July,august,september. The rest of the year pretty quiet gaylife. You need lots of money!

Madrid is on the same level as Barcelona. Everything is there. No beach off course. A city you must see. Expensive.

Sitges is a beautiful town. Beaches are reasonable, all divided in small parts, but gay beach right in the center!! Hotels are good but pretty expensive. Nightlife is busy but not that special, no good clubs, mostly small bars. Prices are too high?! therefore only one + on price/quality.

Valencia is hot and upcoming. It has a lot to offer, beaches, nightlife (mostly in weekend), shopping. See its modern architecture. Price quality is on level of Barcelona and Madrid.

Torremolinos has become hot again. 5 gay beaches in and nearby. A huge variety of nightlife, huge and trendy clubs like Passion and hot bars/rest. like El Gato Lounge. It's in the center of the most interesting areas of Spain. Perfect climate! Still not expensive!
